The Top Floors of the Student Union Building, situated at 34 Princes Street on the Auckland University Campus offers two licensed bar areas for your fun, the biggest and possibly the most well known student Venue in New Zealand “SHADOWS, YOUR STUDENT BAR” which you should become familiar with over your stay at Uni, or just visiting (as you should) which will also become known as "Shadz'" for most, alternatively "home" for some. Shadows is open six days from mid-day till late and has numerous special deals for ALL and along with different themes and entertainment offerings every night from Pub Quiz to Live Bands, it is “Your Social Centre on Campus”. The second area is TOASTED BAR & CAFÉ the home of the “Famous Kiwi Cheese & Tomato Toasted - $2”. This is a licensed bar/cafe which has an ever-changing menu and full beverage offering, it also has possibly the best lunch, dinner and snack deals of its type on campus, so if you wanna chill out, unwind or just kick back and enjoy, check it out.
